There are many types of seaweed which can be used in many ways in food recipes. Traditional uses in soups and savoury stews has expanded to uses in pancakes and as garnishes.

Kombu, Sweet Kombu, Nori, Dulse/Dillisk, Sea spaghetti, Sea lettuce and Irish Moss are all found around Irish shores, are packed with nutrients and with a little imagination can be an interesting addition to your meals.

Our recipes have been garnered from many sources including The Irish Seaweed Centre website and The Umami Information Center website
